The dairy awards for tiie South Taranaki Winter Show, which will open on Wednesday, were announced to-day. The Taianaki championship for single white or coloured cheese was won by the Lowgarth factory, of which Mr. J. L. Taylor is the manager. The same maker also won the Shaw, Savill and Albion Cup for the highest aggregate points in all open classes for cheese. In the latter event Pahiatua (L. Heayns) was second and Ngaere (F. Pedersen) was third. In the butter section Golden Bay (C. V". Green) scored the highest number of points in the open classes, winning a gold medal.
