TOURING FARMERS.
NORTH AUCKLAND PARTY. ENTERTAINMENT IN WELLINGTON. [by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. A party of about 50 farmers from Poverty Bay, Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa is touring the South Island, the members going south from Wellington on Saturday. The party will visit Christchurch, Akaroa, Lincoln College, Methven, Ashburton, Timaru, Dunedin, Queenstown and Invercargill. Another party of about 40 farmers from North Auckland has been entertained by the Farmers' Union over the week-end. The farmers leave to-morrow for Napier and Hastings, and will visit Palmerston North on Thursday, leaving there on Friday to spend tlio week-end at Rotorua bpfore returning home.
