STATEMENT BY ASSIGNEE.-
A meeting of creditors in the estate of Jesso Tanner, farmer, of Rotorua, was opened yesterday, tlio acting-official assignee, Mr. G. W. Brown, presiding.: Bankrupt was not present and tha assignee stated that efforts to trace him had been unavailing. The matter would be placed in the hands of the police, he
said. The meeting was (hen adjourned to Wednesday, May 21.
