MAN FOUND IN HOTEL.
Charged with j)eing found on licensed premises without lawful excuse, Richard Maskell, a painter, aged 36, pleaded guilty, when ho appeared before Mr. F., K. Hunt, S.M., in the Folico Court yesterday. Sub-Inspector Shanahan said accused had been found by a housemaid, who noticed a hand appear through the door of the linen-room and remove a small box. She gave the alarm and accused was apprehended. He had a list of pic-* vious convictions, but had not been before the Court since 1921. Maskell was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within six months.
