THE THAMES CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN correspondent. 1 THAMES. Friday The annual meeting of the Thames Hockey Club was held last evening THe report' referred to the fact that although the club had not been successful in wresting the Cage-Brown Cut) from the Kopu nrahi Club a number of interesting games had been plaved Three members of the club, Messrs. R Menzies, A. J. Broken,shire and L. Griffin, had secured places in the Thames-FTnuraki 'epresentatives against the Australians, and congratulations were extended to them. The election of officers resulted:—Pat ron, Mr. A. M Samuel, M.P.; president, Mr. f, Crawford Watson; vice-president, Mr C. J. Garland: secretary and treasurer, Mr D. B. Ritchie; club cap tain, Mr. P. Jensen: selectors, Messrs. J Cart-wright., D. B. Ritchie and P. Jensen Two life honorary members, Messrs. A. J Brokenshire and Len. Griffin, were elected, the secretary being instructed to convey to thorn the thanks of the club for their assistance to hockey. It was decided to enter a team for the Gage-Brown Cup.
