WINTER SEASON COMMENCES. COMPETITIONS AT DOMAIN. Tho Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will enter upon its 1931 series of winter competition at tho Outer Domain at. 2 o'clock this afternoon, when tho following events will bo decided: —7syds handicap, ono milo steeplechase handicap, putting 161b. shot and throwing tho discus. A similar programme, with the javelin throw added, will be decided next Saturday, when the Victor Ludorum Cup and modal, also other prizes, will bo presented.
