Five hundred Serbian patriots stood bareheaded and observed a two minutes' silence at Serajevo to-day while the memorial tablet to Gabriel Princip was unveiled to commemorate his murder of the Austrian Archduke Francis Ferdinand on June 28, 1914. Otherwise the ceremony was strictly private. No representatives of the Yugoslavian Government or of the municipality were present. The members of the Nationalist societies attended the Serajevo Cathodral, where a requiem mass was said for the repose of Princip's soul. ANGER IN GERMANY. INSUFFERABLE PROVOCATION OUTBURST BY. NEWSPAPER, (Received February 3. 5.25 p.m.) Times Cable. BERLIN, Feb. 2. The Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung condemns the unveiling of the tablet to Gabriel Princip at Serajevo. It says it shows definitely that Serbia approves the outrage. The paper says the ceremony constitutes a monstrous and insufferable act of provocation.
