CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED.
RUN DOWN BY MOTOR-CAR
GIRL SEVERELY SHAKEN.

Charles Bell, aged 18, of Hutt Road, Petone, was run down on the main road near Lower Hutt by a motor-car while he was cycling along at 8.30 last night. He died later in hospital.
An employee of the Hutt Power Board heard the crash and took the number of a car going north. Bell had on the cycle in front of him a Miss Willis, who lives in Waterloo Road. She was severely shaken. The bicycle was damaged beyond repair.
