BOY'S RIBS BROKEN.
ACCIDENT ON A FARM

Broken ribs and other bodily injuries ! were sustained by Oswald Bishop, aged 13 years', son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Bishop, of Mangateparu, as the result of v being dragged under the runners of a heavy sledge. The boy was sledging cans of cream across a paddock when the horse suddenly quickened its pace and pulled! the boy off his feet. He fell on the horse's heels and the heavily-laden sledge passed over his body. The lad was conveyed to the Waikato Hospital, where he is progressing favourably. •
