HORSE ON FOOTPATH.
" ROAD NOT GOOD ENOUGH."
"He does -not think the road is good enough for his horses," said Sub-Inspector McCarthy, when Allan Hope appeared in the. Police Court yesterday on .a charge of riding a racehorse on tho footpath of Panmurc Road.
Constable Reillv said lie saw defendant ride the horse along tho footpath for several chains. He was leading another animal. The road was laid down in bitumen, and it was fairly slippery after rain. A fine of 10s with costs was imposed.
