ORIENT AND DOMINIONS. FIGURES FOR PAST YEAR. (Received November 5, 10.45 p.m.) VANCOUVER, Nov. i. Canada's trade with the Orient is growing to an amazing extent. The value of her exports for the year ended September 30 was £6,000,000. This was double the value for any previous year. The value of exports to Japan exceeded £8,000,000, which represents an increase of 20 per cent. Canada's exports to Australia in the period were valued at £4,000,000,, an increase of 30 per cent. Exports to Now Zealand the same year reached a total value of £3,600,000, an increase of 50 per cent. Imports from Australia decreased in value by £200,000, hut purchases from New Zealand increased 60 per cent, the total value being £2,600,000.
