WEDDING
■WHINERAY—BILLANY. Tlio marriage of Miss Ida Cecilia Billanv elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Bilfa'rty, of Onehunga, and Mr. Bruce Ludlow Whineray, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Whineray, of Remucra, took placo at St. David's Church on Wednesday. Tlio bride, who was given away' bv her father, wore a frock of silk embroidered net over palest pink georgette, and her veil of old Honiton lace, encircled with a wreath of orange blossom, foil to form tho long train. Iler bouquet was of white roses. Tho bridesmaid, Miss Dorothy Bainbridge, wore an anklelength "frock of palest pink georgette, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. The best man was Mr. Eric C. Sanders. After tho ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents. Tho rooms were arranged with pink and white spring flowers, and Mrs. Billany received her guests in a gown of oyster grey georgette and black hat. :
