AKARANA YACHT CLUB.

The Akarana Yacht Club held its weekly dance in the clubhouse on Saturday evening. Stacey's orchestra supplied the dance music and there was a good attendance of dancers. Members of the committee present were:—Mrs. Jeffers, : who wore black georgette; Mis. Webster, I apricot georgotte; Miss Ratcliffe, rose crepe do chine; Miss Hanlon, Chinese red velvet and diamante. Members and friends who were present included Miss M. Turner, who wore daffodil satin and rainbow tulle; Miss Morton, almond green georgette; Miss Hanlen, shell pink crcpo de chine and tulle; Miss E. Hardy, black crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss U. Turner, black taffeta; Miss 0. Archer, black georgette and lace; Miss E. Kelly, coral georgette with uneven hem; Miss E. Friend, red taffeta; Miss J. Marsh, eau do nil georgette; Miss K. Stevenson, powder blue satin and sequin trimming; Miss D. Saunders, shell pink crepo do chine; Miss P. Smith, cherry taffeta; Miss Stanley, black satin and green georgette; Miss Fergus, ombro rose georgette; Miss Smith, red figured crepe de chine; Miss Laing, black silk lace with uneven hem; Miss Hunter, daffodil Jersey silk; Miss Mayn, mauve georgette and silver trimming; Miss Wilson, blue satin and silver lace; Miss Stringer, figured crepo do chino; Miss C. Fower, apricot chenille georgette; Miss Pitketliley, black satin and silk lace; Miss F. Willetts, green taffeta; Miss Hawkey, eau do nil crcpo do chino; Miss G.
