TECHNICAL OLD BOYS' GAME.
AUCKLAND DEFEATS HAMILTON
The Auckland Technical Old Boys defeated the Hamilton Technical Old Boys by 27 points to 8 on Saturday in a Rugby match played at tho Show Grounds, utter a rather colourless display. Auckland showed a marked superiority throughout. Try-gftters for Auckland were:—Porteous (3), Iveano (2), Harris (2). Keanc converted a try and also potted a goal. Bankier and Jepson scored for Hamilton, Kirby converting one.
JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. The final of the Auckland Rugby Union's junior championship between Grammar Old Boys and Ponsonby, played at tho Show Grounds on Saturday, resulted in a win for Grammar by 18 points to 3. For the winners, Lendrum. Frankham, Jordan and Young scored tries, Lendrum converting three. The weather was fine and the ground conductive to fast and interesting football. . . . . In the fourth grade competition Otahuhu defeated Manpkau by 18 points to 3.
