AKARANA LADIES' CLUB. A most enjoyable At llonie was spent at Akarana yesterday When members of the Akarana Ladies' Golf Club and friends from Maungakiekie, Glandowie, Otahuhu, Pupuke and Papakura took part in a foursomes competition, the visitors afterwards being entertained to afternoon tea at the clubhouse. The trophies were won by Mrs. Gilmore and Mrs. Rushton, who returned a score of 101. 23—78. Other scores were:—Mrs. Mueller and Mrs. Cox, 108, 2K—SO; Miss Jones and Miss I'. Peel, 115, ."51—SI. Mrs. Brook-Smith and Mrs. Maeefield were awarded the consolation prize.

Tho nowly-formed Onewhero Coif Club concluded its first season to-day, A bogey match was played. J. Potua won in tho men's division, with E. Cameron runner-up. In the ladies' division Miss_ Muir, Waiuku, and Mrs. Johnson tied for first place. Tho club championship has been won by A. Allen, with R. N. Johnson runner-up. Mrs. Johnson won the ladies' championship, with Miss M. Cameron runner-up.

[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE, Saturday. The Pukekoho Golf Club's season was officially terminated to-day. A mixed foursomes match was hold and a largo number of players, including visitors from other clubs, took part. Mr. and Mrs. Pavitt, Papakuru, 40 17—29, and Miss Duncan and K. Pike, Pukekoho, 48 10—29, tied for first place. The play-off went to a further nino holes and was won on the laßt hole by Mr. and Mrs. Pavitt. Other loading cards wero as follows:—Miss O'Neill and Coyle, 40, 15—31; Miss Arbuckle and Freeman, 43, 12—31: Br. and Mrs. McWhirter, 47, 15—32.
