SYDNEY, Sept. 20,
Captain Loriard, mnster of the steamer Moeraki, was to-day fined £3OO for having prohibited immigrants on his vessel. Defendant stated that tho three Chinese referred to in the charge wero ori board without his knowledge. _
Being prohibited immigrants tho Chinese wero sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
