ULTRA-VIOLET RAYS.
TREATMENT OF CHILDREN.
RESULTS PROVE NEGATIVE.

Purely negative is tho description applied to tho results of the Medical Research Council's elaborate experiments to discover whether ultra-violet' light treatment for school children has resulted in tho improvement of their well-being. Tho experiment covered one group of children who wero treated with tho light for seven months and another group who wero not treated. When tho results wero summarised it was found that the difforonces weto very small between tho groups and in no case largo enough to signify either the harmful or the bene-, ficial influence of tho light.
