The Glendowie Jjadies' Golf Club held a most successful open day yesterday, when a number of visiting golfers were present. The course was in excellent order. Tho trophy for tho best gross scoro was won by Mrs. R. L. Wilson with a scoro of 82. Tho senior medal first prize was won by Mrs. Hutchison, 90. 20—70. Mrs. R. L. Wilson was second with a scoro of 82. &—74. Miss Rennio won tho iunior medal with a score of 104, 84 —70. Mrs. Bsird being second with 101, 2S—7:t.

TABLE TENNIS.

A very pleasant function took placo in the club rooms of the Auckland Harbour Board Social Club yesterday, when the president of the club. Mr. H. B. Burnett, presented the Hislop Vase, which was presented to tho club Mr. J. Hislop for annual competition at tablo tennis, also a miniature, to Mr. T. W. Bennett the winner for J929.- Mr. Bennett suitably responded. Mr. M. S. Withers then asked Mr. Burnett to accept on behalf of the club the Kohn Clip for the B grade inter-club championship, won by the Auckland Harbour Board Social Club team for the year 19-29. In reply Mr. Burnett complimented the players on being tho first winners of the cup and wished them success in the competitions next year.
