A verdict of accidental death, there being no blame attachable to the driver of the lorry, was returned at tho inquest today concerning the death of Madeline Mack, aged six years, who died in the Hawera Hospital on August 3 from injuries received when she ran into a motor-lorry on July 31 at Okaiawa. Evidence was given that the child was playing beside the roadway and ran toward the middle of the road. She collided with the sido of the lorry, which was travelling slowly on its correct side.
