NORTHERN WAIROA RECORD. OUTPUT EXCEEDS 2200 TONS. GOOD RETURN TO SUPPLIERS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DARGAVILLE, Saturday. The twenty-seventh annual report and balance-sheet of the Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company shows that a record season has been experienced. Ihe output for the season amounted to 2209.9 tons and the am<uint paid to suppliers was £309,496 10s Id. 'J'ho net price received at the factory by suppliers for butter-fat was 16.85 d per lb, a slight advance on last year's figures. The number of suppliers, G7O, is fewer by 16 than in the previous season. Depreciation allowed during the year 1928-29 amounted to £6146 15s Id, making a total of £45,416 8s Id since the inception of the company. After allowing for depreciation there is a balance for distribution of £23,261 8s lid, which the directors recommend shall bo disposed of as follows: —Interest at 6 per cent, on shares, £1826 Is 6d: final payment, June to May inclusive, of 1.25 d per lb, £21,139 7s 6d; leaving a balance to carry forward, £295 7s lid. The increase in butter made during the year was 224.53 tons.
