LOSS OF STEAMER.
WRECKED CREW SAVED.
PICKED UP FROM LIFEBOAT,
United Service. LONDON. July 8. The steamer which was said to have been seen to sink after an explosion is repotted to have been the IJoete.
The mystery attached to the affair was solved to-day by the arrival of the Dutch steamer Gelderland at Immingharn with 13 men she picked up from a lifeboat off Cromer.
The rescued men comprised the entire crew of the Boete, which ran aground and has broken up.
Thero is no vessel of thp name Boete in Lloyd's register.
