Mr. A. E. Ford, manager to the Auckland Transport Board, was yesterday granted leave of absence for six weeks.
He will leave by the Niagara next Tuesday on a holiday visit to Australia. It was stated that 'Mr. Ford had received only 17 days' leave in the past seven years.
