NEW PASSENGER SERVICE. JOURNEY IN 46 HOURS. (Received July 8. 9.5 p.m.) United Service. NEW YORK, July 7. A combined rail and air passenger service of 46 hours from New York to Los Angeles, California, was inaugurated this . evening. An aeroplane belonging to the j Pennsylvania Railway Company moved away from the railway platform bearing 12 passengers. Colonel Charles Lindbergh, & Los Ange'es, pressed a button which started the first machine from New York. Sight-seeing on board tho aeroplane and sleeping on trains, the passengers will cross the Continent in less than two days. !~i'—:
