ACT OF REVENGE.
BOY'S TERRIBLE DEED. MAN AND CHILD BURNED. [from our own correspondent.] SHANGHAI, May 27. An eight-year-old Chinese beggar boy. who was angry because a little Chinese girl in the same village would not play with him, out of revenge, set fire to the straw and bamboo hut of tho girl's parents. Tho conflagration spread rapidly, with the result that tho entire beggar villago was destroyed. Hundreds of poor unfortunate Chinese of tho beggar class havo been rendered homeless and a Chinese man and baby perished in the flames.
