MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

The Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Educatibn, arrived in Auckland on Saturday, and is at the Grand Hotel. He is accompanied by his private secretary, Mr. W. I. Deavell, The Minister will attend the races at Ellerslie to-day, and will take part in some of the functions arranged in honour of the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. Mr. Atmore has also a comprehensive itinerary in the province. He will visit the teachers' training college at Epsom to-morrow morning. On Wednesday the Minister wifl visit the schools at Waiuku and Pukekohe and the Wesley College at Paerata. On Thursday he will visit Mangers Central and 'East and Papatoetoe, and on Friday Stanley Bay, Devonport, Vauxhall, Belmont, Takapuriu, Milford and the Northcote Junior High School. The Minister will attend the annual dinner of the Headmasters' Association in the evening. The Hon. W. B. Taverner, Minister of Railways, arrived in Auckland yesterday, and is at the Grand Hotel. He is accompanied by Mrs. Taverner, and his private secretary, Mr. T. R. Aickin. Details of Mr. Tavemer's itinerary have not yet been settled, but ho will take part in the function to be held in honour of tlio Prime Minister, and on either Thursday or Friday will inspect the route of the proposed Paeroa-Pokeno railway. The Hon. A. J. Stall worthy, Minister of Health, arrived from Wellington yesterday morning. He will probably be in Auckland until Thursday. The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral, arrived from Wellington on Saturday morning.
