MISHAP TO STEAMER.
CORNWALL STRIKES QUAY. CARGO FROM DOMINION. Australian Press Association—United Service LONDON, May 17. The Cornwall, from New Zealand, via Avonmouth, struck the quay wall at Princess Dock, and her stem was buckled for 12ft. up and down. She is making water and is being repaired, and will continue her voyage when she is seaworthy. The Federal Steam Navigation Company's vessel Cornwall, of 10,616 tons, was in Auckland on January 18. She loaded general cargo at New Zealand ports, left Napier on March 20, and reached London on May 5. She was to go on to Glasgow and Liverpool. She was to sail frotn Liverpool on June 22.
