NO SALE FOR WHEAT.
SURPLUS IN AUSTRALIA. FARMER'S FRUITLESS JOURNEY. (Received May 14, 8.35 p.m.) SYDNEY. May 14. A farmer from Forbes, 280 miles west of Sydney, says he carne to the city last week to sell some wheat but found it impossible. He asserted that it would be easier t : o sell a bag of snakes. The visitor says there is a surplus of wheat, and if the forthcoming season is a good one the bottom will fall out of the market entirely.
