[l3l TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Thursday. A painful accident befol Mr. William McNeil, of Puni, while manipulating the tipping apparatus on a motor truck in Clark's Road, Waiau Pa, to-day. His right hand was caught between the gear chain and tho cogs, and tho fingers were badly crushed. Mr. McNeil was brought to Pukokohe, and after medical attention lie was sent to the Auckland Hospital. Ifc is feared ho will lose the first tlireo finger*..
