RE-ELECTION OF MR. RHODES. At Mount Albeit Mr. L. E. Rhodes was re elected Mayor, after a keen contest, with a majority oi 459 votes over Mr. I\. K. N. Matthews. lie thus enters Ins fourth term of oltice—double that of any previous Mayor of the borough. A total of 4325 valid votes was cast out of a roll of 10.101. The Mayoralty. h. E. Addressing a large gathering outside the new council chambers, Mr. Rhodes announced his intention lo continue advocating the progressive policy ho had inaugurated during his past terms of office until the borough was thoroughly roaded arid supplied with sewerage facilities. Mr. Matthews congratulated Mr. Rhodes on his re-election. Cheers were given for the Mayor and his opponent.
