Commissioned-Gunner E. Gale, arrived from England by. the Tamaroa to join H.M.S. Veronica,
' The Right Hon. J. G." Coates, who attended the air pageant in Hastings, arrived in Auckland yesterday. He is at; the Grand Hotel.
Mr. H. Marchant, of Napier. Mr. T.Mitchell, of Whangarei, Mr. H v Biddies, of Dargaville, and Mr. M. Wilson, of Kaingaroa, are at. the Central Hotel. .
Captain H. Hepburn and his mother, Mrs. R. Hepburn, of London, were passengers from Southampton by the Tamaroa. They will tour Now Zealand.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Parsons and Mr, and Mrs. E. Gr. Johnston, of London, aftd Mr. and Mrs. A. Lawson, of Newport, Scotland, are at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. E. 8. Dixon, of Wellington, Mr. W. M. Horton, of Hamilton, Mr. A, E.Tomlinson, of Taumarunui, and Mr. P. Young, of Timaru, are. at the Royal Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. 11. W. Collins, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. W. Hood, of Chertisey, and Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Vucetich, of Timaru, are at the Hotel Stone* hurst.
Mr. J. D. Tanner and Mr. W, Mitchell, of Sydney, Mr. B. B. Grange and Mr, R. F. Hodgson, of Wellington, and Mr. T. W. Tackey, of Rotorua, are-at tho Grand Hotel.
Captain W. R. Lovering .and Mrs. Lovering, of Cornwall, arrived from Southampton by the Tamaroa yesterday. Captain Lovering is an Imperial Army officer and he served in the Great War. They are at the Grand Hotel, and- later will' tour New Zealand.
Mr. E. C. Lindsay, surgeon to the East London Hospital, arrived from England by the Tamaroa, and will visit relatives in Christchurch. Mr. Lindsay-was born in Dunedin, and received his early training at the Otago .Medical School, where lie was a prominent footballer.
