SCHEME FOR CONCRETING.
HIGHWAYS BOARD'S APPROVAL.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Having taken traffic tallies on the highway from Panmure to Howick the Main Highways Board has decided to .pprove the construction of a concrete pavement on this highway. It is understood that the Manukau County Council is taking steps to place the scheme before the ratepayers with a view to borrowing its proportion o£ the cost.
