BULK BENZINE INDUSTRY.
INSPECTION BY SCHOOLBOYS.
The. many interesting processes involved in the handling of bulk benzine were demonstrated \u ;i party of senior pupils from tho Takapuna, Grammar School at the, depot of the Atlantic Union Company, Freeman's Bay, oil Saturday morning. The party was divided .info two sections and was condiH ted over the plant by tho superintendent, Mr. .T, S. Black, and his assistant, Mr. \V. Potter. The visitors wore, shown tho entire depot, and tho different processes embodying tho latest ideas of efficiency, were carefully and fully explained to them. Tho scholars were particularly interested in tho precautions taken against firo and closely inspected tho " foamito" plant, which smothers burning benzine. At, (ho close of tho inspection Mr. T. S. Mcllarg, a master of tho Takapuna Grammar School, expressed the thanks of tho scholars.
