HIGHER HOSPITAL FEES.
ROTORUA INSTITUTION. PROTEST BY COOK BOARD. [BV TELEGRAPH. —TOESS ASSOCIATION.] OISBORNE, Fridny. The Cook Hospital Board has decided to protest against the increase of fees at the King George V. Hospital, Rotorua, from 9s to 12s per day for adults, and from 6s to 9s per day for children under 16, the proposal being described as "outrageous." It is stated that the increased fees would mean an additional expense of £SOO or £6OO a year to the Cook Hospital Board.
