LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
TE PAPAPA BRANCH,
| The Te Papapa branch of the League of | Mothers held its first monthly meeting for this year under tho most favourable circumstances last Wednesday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members and friends. Mrs. Jameson, the newlyelected president, occupied the chair. Mrs. Blackwood, president of tho newlyformed Remuera branch, gavo a most interesting account of her trip to Alaska. Musical items were given by Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Dunkley, and tho hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Westbrooke and Richardson. Those present included Mesdames Blackwood, Jamison, Marks, Angus, Bentley, Black, Appleton, Clover, Hook, Westbrooke, Richardson, Flay, T. E. Smith, Bridges, STacey, McKenzie, Partridge, Sibbin, Miller, Stow, G. H. Clark, Crosbie, Whimster, Dunkley, Dawson, E. P. Smith, Miss 0- Foster, and friends from the Onelmnga branch.
