RACES FOR OUTBOARDS.

HANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY,

The Now Zealand Outl.oard Motor-boat Association will bold a series of races for outboard motor-boats at Buckland's Beach on Saturday. Large entries have been ceived and some exciting contests are anticipated. All events will Btart and finish off the wharf. The officials in charge of the racinj will be:—Starter, Mr. F. Faw*ett; judge. Captain Holmes; timekeeper, Mr. J. S. Dickson; handicapper, Mr. C. It. Wilson. Following ore the entries and handicaps: General Handicap, for Oittboards. To start at 2.30 p.m., course 3 miles.—Humbug, Miss Arawn, sor: U. Devil, ]ni; Miss Aknrana, hn 10s; Nymph, Rainbow, 2m; Vnye, Fleet-n. 2m 20s; Miss Tamaki, The Chief, Dizzie, Chancil, Miss Ivohi, Miss Jill, 2rn 50s.

B Class Outboarda, for Dewar's Cup. To start nt a.15 p.m., course 3 miles.—Misß Akarann, scr; Humbug, lm: Fleelun, 3m Tamaki. Chancit, Miss Kohi, Miss .Till, Dirzio, 2m 50s; Vavo, 3iu 10s. General Handicap, for Outboards. To start ot 3.45 p.m., course 4 miles.—Entries eamo as first race; boat 3 to bo rehandicapped. General Handicap, for Outboards. To etnrt at 4.30 p.m , courso 4 miles.—Entries sumo as first- race; boats to be rehandicapped. The handicaps in the second race are also subject to alteration. All competitors must fly the club flag and racing pennant. ibo club will hold a dance in Buckland'a Hall on Saturday cveniug.
