The Hamilton Homing I'igeon Club conducted a young-bird race on Saturday from 'i'c Kniti. Owing to the dull weather and strong head-wind low velocities were recorded. Tho results were:—Mr. W. C. Pountney's entry, 572ycls. per min., 1; A. Sharpc's entry sC9yda., 2; T. Humphrey's entry, 550 yds., 3. Other competitors were:— If. Ashlon, 515 yds.; 0. Glover, 533yd5.; C. Mayes, 510 yds.; and Scott Bros. Next week's raco will bo from Taumurunui.

Andrew's Eaglet, 903.7yd5. per minute, 1; It. Patterpcm's Blackwatch, 887.1yd5., 2; I). Wilson's Grand Box, 880.2yd5., 3; .1, Whittakcr's Southern Cross, 812.7yd5.
