AKA RAN A DEFENCE CLUE. The final shoot for trophies presented by Mr. E. Starkcy and Mr 8. Elliott, was allot by members of the A kit ran a Defence Hi He Club over tho ranges of 800 yds and 900 yds at, Penrose rifle range under fair weather conditions. After a very interesting contest iu sections A and C. the trophies were won by Mr. W. Colquhoun and Mr. A. Walker. The final shoot for the section B trophy, presented by Mr. A. C. Crossan, will be competed for over the ranges of 800 yds and 900 yds on Saturday week. Silver spoons were won by Riflemen W Colquhoun. I' 1 . Elliott and A. Walker. CITY AND SUBURBS CLUB. The final shoot of the third trophy competition was completed at 800 yds and 900vds, by members of the City and Suburbs Rifie Club under conditions which were tar from ideal. Tho changes in the strong left wind were practically unreadable and thoae riflemen who struck a variable period wore ill trouble. R. C. Russell counted out P. J. "Print? for a win in grade A. while I. Spry won the grade B spoon easily. With a total of eight R. C. Russell won the senior trophy by a margin of five points, G. P. Birka winning the junior trophy with five points. He also registered the easiest of wins in tho final of the "knock-out" competition for the Laidlaw Cup. Following are the results:— Grade A.—R. C.
