SHORT LOANS AND BILLS. Short loans, per cent., same as last week; three months' bills, 4 11-32 per cent., compared with 4 9-32 per cent., last week. CONSOLS AND COLONIAL STOCKS. The following table gives quotations for consols and colonial inscribed stocks, com pared with those of January 3:—

WHEAT, FLOUR, PULSE, ETC. Wheat.—Cargoes are firm, sellers asking a further advance of 3d, and buyers at present pausing. Parcels are quieter, in response to an advance of 3d to 6d.
