Local merchants are not short of stocks and 6s, sacks extra, ex store, is still obtainable for good quality. Shipping prices, howover, are weak, with sales being made where buyers can bo found at 5s 7d, f.0.b., sacks extra. Business in oafs remains at a standstill. No inquiries are being received from any quarter, but, on the other hand, growers have practically placed ail their oats. The demand for chaff is very quiet, with prices remaining unchanged.
