WORKS OF DUTCH MASTERS. ARMED GUARDS TO PROTECT. Australian and N.Z. F're a s As?oiia I ion. LONDON", Nov. Cj. Armed men, who will lie concealed in a specially-constructed motor-van, are to leave London to collect £5,000.000 worth of pictures from various public galleries and private collections in England and Scotland for an exhibition of works of Dutch masters at Burlington House in January. The van will ho fitted with special springs and a padded case will he used for each of tho 300 pictures to be gathered. There will be armed guards on duty, including local police, day and night.
