SOCIAL EVENING.
MUSIC AND SPEECHES.
Tlio Bayswater-Belmont Women's Society licld a most successful social evening in the clubhouse at Bayswatcr on Saturday, at which a largo number of members and visitors were present. A most enjoyable programme was arranged. This included items by the Purity brigade, and' songs by Miss Gower, Miss Freda Gaudin and Mr. F. Sutherland, with Sir. Leo Whittakcr as accompanist. The president of the society, Mrs. F. Gaudin, made the opening speech, and the toasts of the evening were proposed l>y Mrs. Easson, Mrs. Ilabbidge, Mrs. Carr and Mrs. Gyde. The ladies committee was as follows Mrs. Gaudin, who wore a frock nf black and gold georgette: Mrs. B. Francis, Arcadian blue georgette embossed in silver; Mrs. McKic, figured crepe do chine; Mrs. Thomas, junior, blue crepe satin; Mrs. Collinson, lime floral georgette;. Mrs. Brady, black and pink floral chiffon; Mrs. Carr, black georgette; Mrs. Ilabbidge, god and red brochc, and black shawl; Mrs Smith,black georgette with red relief; Mrs. Gvde, burnished gold satin; Mrs. A. White, black lace over satin; Mrs. Easson, black and green charmeuse; Mrs. Harrison, ciel blue crepe do chine; Mrs. Inkster, black beaded georgette; Mrs. Creamer, kingfisher-blue sat'n; . Mrs. Waddell, blue charmeuse, with Oriental trimming; Mrs. Marten, black georgette; Mrs. Rambaud, lime crepe de thine. Among tlio guests present were: Mrs. Price, who wore a frock of figured crepo de chine; Mrs. Wyatt, champagne beaded georgette; Mrs. Ward, cinnamon crepe do chine; Mrs. Forrest, black georgeito over ecru lace; Mrs. Cook, figured crepe do chine; Mrs. Mat Duff, black and beige georgette; Mrs. -Woodward, old gold charmeuse and tissue; Mrs. Sollars, black charmeuse; Mrs. Skeat, black georgette; Mrs. Peters, black crepe do chine; Mrs. T. McLeod, orange charmeuse; Miss Mac Duff, black panne velvet; Miss N. Gaudin, gold lace over cyclamen; Miss Freda Gaudin, cream charmeuse; Miss Davies, black crepo do chine; Miss Daines, emerald green georgette and gold lace; Miss Dick, blue beaded georgette; Miss Powell, black brocaded satin; Miss L. Powell, sequin nod net over lemon satin; Miss Simpson, shell pink crepe flcuri and ecru lace.
