ItUdBY, Nov. —The Chancellor of the K\che<|iicr, Mr. Winston Cliuicliill, said in the House of Commons (hat, contrary to reports, there was no intention to revert to penny postage for letters in the near future.
The re-introduction of penny postage on the pre-war basis would entail a loss to tho Treasury that was estimated at between £3,250,000 and £7,250,000.
