TOM HEENEY'S PLANS.
RETIREMENT POSSIBLE.
WIFE AGAINST MORE BOXING. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. NEW YORK. Nov. 22. Tlio New Zealand boxer, Tom Heency, in an interview, said ho was unable to make up his mind whether to retire or to continue boxing. Ho said: "My wifo wants me to retire while I am sound in body and mind. Shes does not want me to expose myself to the danger of injury through further fighting. " I have a little money, and I feel inclined to go into somo business which would bring m a satisfactory income." Heency said the popular belief in tlio monetary reward for prize-fighting was distorted. He estimated that he could make probably only £BOOO a year from four or five matches. There were no more new men for him to meet. He expressed his willingness to meet men liko Risko, Sharkey, Paulino and Denipscy. Ho said big .men like Tunncy were not his style.
