The additions will compriso two classrooms with a corridor between, and a small room for the teachers. Tho classrooms will be 22ft. wide and 22ft. and 29ft. long respectively. The larger room will have benches and sinks fitted for science purposes. A feature of tho building will be tho windows, which will bo of a special type manufactured in tho Education Board's workshop. Tho To Karaka school will bo the first school fitted with this typo of window. Amplo light and ventilation will be given and provision will be made for hot-water heating.
