CAR GOES OVER BANK.
LUCKY ESCAPE OF DRIVER. [llY TELEGHAVH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] \VHANGAREI, Wednesday. A five-sealer car, being driven down a stoop hill from Pania Bay toward Whangarei by Mr. R. Murphy, at five o'clock last evening, went over a bank near tho Tamaterau School, but fortunately tlio driver escaped injury. The front wheels of the car were taken off.
