SEQUEL HEARD ,IN COURT.

A claim for damages was brought in the Magistrate's Court at rukekoho by a car-owner, J. Monk, whose car collided with that of the defendant, W. J. Morgan, on tho Great South Road near Ramarama about 8 p.m. on Juno 4. Plaintiff said that while driving from Auckland lo Hamilton ho saw defendant's car approaching. The lights on it were so bright that he was dazzled, and stopped his car on tho correct side of the road. Defendant's car struck his car a glancing blow. Defendant said plaintiff was still moving at tho time of tho collision, and was on his wrong side of the road. After viewing the scene of the accident, tho magistrate, Mr. F. 11. Levien, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiff for £l4 5s 3d and costs, £9 2s.
