BRIDGE EVENING.

Mrs. J. B. Macfarlano was hostess at a bridge evening given on Tuesday at her home in Gillies Avenue, for Mrs. Philip Hanna, who is leaving for Dunedin shortly. The rooms were fragrant with spring flowers, and on the supper table in the dining room were arranged beautiful azaleas, in delicate shades of mauve and pink. Mrs. Macfarlane wore a frock of black georgetio embroidered in gold, and Mrs. P. Hanna wore a vieux rose frock beaded in silver. Miss Macfarlane was in mauve georgette. Among those who were present were Mrs. W. B. Colbeck, Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Mrs. W. A Fairclough, Mrs. Abbott, Mrs. Lickei-ton-Fisher, Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Watson, Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Richmond, S]rs. F.
