Eraser, of Melbourne, aro at tho Hotel Stoneliurst, Sir Benjamin and Lady Fuller were passengers for Sydney by the Niagara last evening. • * Mr. F. S. Read, of Wellington, and Mr. D. S. Smith, of Dunedin, arc at the Hotel Stoneliurst. Mr. H. 11. Hemus, of Auckland, returned from a visit to the Islands by tho Niagara yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Poole, of Sydney, and Mr. and Airs. H. N. Hope, of South Canterbury, aro at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. H. Christian, of Wellington, Mr. 11. Boles, of Te Kuiti, and Sir. C. A. Boles and Mr. R. Simons, of Taumarunfri, arc at the Royal Hotel. Sir William Glasgow, Federal Minister of Defence, who headed tho Australian delegation at tho Empire Parliamentary conferenco in Canada, is returning to Australia by tho Niagara. Air. A. Spencer, president of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association, returned from a holiday in tho United States by the Niagara yesterday. He was accompanied by Sirs. Spencer. Mr. H. W. Fulton, of Glasgow, Mr, E. K. Kessell, of Sydney, Sir. J. S. Fawcett, of Hamilton, Mr. J. D. Sole, of New Plymouth, and Sir. G. Gascoigne, of Cambridge, are at tho Central Hotel. Sir. J. Willis, of London, Sir. J. H. Farrell, of Honolulu, Sir. Slackenzio Forbes, and Sir. R. SlacKenzie, of Wanganui, and Sir. L. J. Armstrong, of Te Awamutu, aro at the Hotel Cargen. Sir H. W. Slaxwell, Sir. H. J. Wallis, Mr. J. Robertson and Sir. .1. lanes Jones, of Wellington, Sir. G. Slichelmore, of Suva, and Mr. J. McEnnis, Sir. R. Hamilton, and Sir. R. J. Kernohan, of Whangarei, are at tho Star Hotel. Surgeon-Commander G. D. Slacintosli, of H.SI.S. Philomel, who has completed his term of service on the New Zealand station, left by the Niagara last evening for Sydney, on his return to England, lie was accompanied by Sirs. Slacintosh. Sir. and Sirs. E. T. North, Sir. and Mrs. H. W. Lester, and Sir. and Sirs. G. Featherstonhaugh, of London, Sir. and Sirs. E. J. Woods, of Melbourne, Sir. and Mrs. E. Riddiford, of Wellington, Sir. and Sirs., J. A. Cook, of Dunedin, and Sir. and Sirs. W. I. Carney, of Christchurcli, arc at the Grand Hotel. Sir. R. W. G. Anderson, of London, Sir. G. A. Oakes, of Bloomlield, United States, Sir. C. A. Royle, of Sydney, Sir. E 11. Chandler, of Ceylon, Sir. S. T. Spain, of Alexandra, Otago Central, Sir. G W. Willey, of Wellington, and Sir. L R. Ower, of Christchurch, aro at the Grand Hotel. The Earl of Orford, who will arrive at Wellington by the Ruahine on Thursday, intends to spend a long holiday in New Zealand. He first visited the Dominion while he was in tho Royal Navy. Indifferent health is ono of the reasons prompting his visit to New Zealand. He will be accompanied by the Countess of Orford.
