WORKER SEVERELY BURNED
HOT LIMESTONE DUST. ' ACCIDENT AT PORTLAND. [BY TELEGRAPH.- OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] WHAXGAREI. Saturday. When Mr. John Clark, aged 36, was derailing a combustion chamber at tlio cement works at Portland this morning some hot limestone dust clinging to the sides of the chamber fell on him, severely burning his right arm and face. Ho was admitted to the Whangarei Hospital in a serious condition.
