A WOULD-BE IMMIGRANT.
Sir,—Can any person supply mc with information regarding the following: Is there a society or fund of any kind in this country who would assist myself and family to Western Australia, to allow me to take advantage of their land settlement scheme ? Any person between the ages of 15 and 50 years can. by taking up land under this scheme, obtain 160 acres free, with a sustenance wage of not less than 10s per day until such land is self-support-ing. If there is no society to assist me, will some kipd person, with more money than they require for the necessities of this life, give a sporting chance to a man with four children, who is willing and has sufficient knowledge to enable him to make a success where an opportunity is available ? By so doing he will be duplicating a kind action. By assisting me. and, at the same time, freeing this country of ono of its unwanted obligations —the unemployed returned soldier with a young family. Would-be Immigrant.
